PVC UPCYCLING
At Prysmian we are taking an important step towards circularity: together with the University of Groningen and Cescco2 we are developing an innovative method to purify PVC from old cables and make it reusable. Harmful substances such as DOP and lead are selectively removed, making the recycled material safe and suitable for new cable production. This turns cable waste into a valuable raw material - sustainable, responsible and ready for the future.
