Prysmian and Rensa DTC join forces: total solution for installers

Categories:

Prysmian, the world's largest manufacturer of cables and solutions, and Rensa DTC have entered into a strategic partnership. Since the addition of DTC to Rensa Family, the company has been actively building a strong Etechniek portfolio. Thanks to the collaboration with Prysmian – producer of the high-quality Draka cables – Rensa DTC installers can now offer a complete, high-quality and future-proof range.

Delft, Netherlands   -   29/01/2026 - 09:00 AM

Why is this important?

The market is increasingly demanding one partner who can supply both W and Etechniek. Rensa Family has been serving a large network of Winstallateurs for many years. With DTC as a specialist electrical wholesaler within the group and with Prysmian as a strategic partner, installers now have access to a complete Eportfolio of top-quality Draka products. This fulfills a long-cherished wish of many customers: to be able to easily purchase Prysmian/Draka products via Rensa DTC.

Sustainable packaging: Joint strategy for CO₂ reduction

Prysmian and Rensa have also found each other in their shared ambition to make packaging structurally more sustainable. Both organisations are already taking targeted steps to reduce packaging material, make it more sustainable and, where possible, reuse it. For example, Prysmian uses recycled materials in various packaging solutions, the use of film has been greatly reduced and labels and product packaging are increasingly sustainable. At the same time, Rensa is working on circular logistics through, among other things, reusable packaging solutions and optimisations in transport and material flows. By joining forces, both companies are now developing a joint strategy to further reduce their carbon footprint. For the customer, this means less waste, a more transparent and future-proof product range and a chain that demonstrably contributes to a more sustainable installation sector. In this way, Prysmian and Rensa are visibly at the forefront when it comes to sustainable innovation.

Soon available via Rensa DTC

Draka cables will soon be available in the Rensa DTC service desks and can be ordered directly via the Rensa DTC website. This makes it easier and more efficient for installers to purchase all the necessary materials – both W and E – from one platform.

Market value: Thanks to this partnership, installers benefit from:

•    One total platform for technical engineering.
•    Specialized support from DTC's cable knowledge and Rensa's national network.
•    Sustainable, high-quality solutions from Draka, produced in the Netherlands.

Toine Verschuur, Commercial Director Prysmian:
"With this collaboration we bring two strong companies together. Rensa's broad network and sustainable vision are a perfect fit with our Draka innovations. This is how we serve installers with quality and sustainability."

Rob Walk, Managing Director DTC:
"By combining our cable specialization with the strength of Prysmian and the scale of Rensa Family, we are taking an important step in completely unburdening installers."

Henk-Jan Wegman, CEO Rensa Family:
"The collaboration with Prysmian fits perfectly with our ambition to offer installers a total range where quality, innovation and customer focus are paramount."
